The Desert in Winter

Last February I visited the Osoyoos area, staying a short distance up the road on a working cattle ranch. The vistas changed with every mile, from bleak desert orchards to snowy grasslands awaiting spring thaw. All were so captivating it was hard to know where to look.

Once Upon a Time

Not long ago, I painted and drew as if possessed. My favorite subjects were people, as you can see. This is quite different from what I do now, where my favorite subject is whatever catches the eye. The roads to self expression are many and varied indeed.

Climbing Among Flowers

A recent outing revealed a variety of images - stairs on a Fort Langley dock, stairs in a derelict old house (I was probably trespassing:), and a rhododendron explosion.
